The same tough and durable boot you’ve come to expect from us, but now in a pull-on style. Pull tabs on our slip-on work boots allow you to get out and about faster without having to sit down to tie your laces. Pull-on work boots are ideal for me because they are both comfortable and convenient to put on and take off. They combine the protection of a work boot with the comfort of a pair of slippers. When it comes to work—and play, for that matter—pull-on boots are convenient, comfortable, and versatile.
After your first day of work in these fantastic pull-on work boots, your feet will thank you. In comparison to a lace-up boot, which can be loosened to slip your foot in, then tightened once the foot is inside the shoe, a pull-on boot will have a little more breathing room. In comparison to lace-up work boots, pull-on work boots will have a loose, wide fit. It should not pinch the ball of your foot or your toes, but it should be snug in the instep area of your foot. Like a good handshake, for example.
When a new boot is first worn, it may slip a little, but if it is snug in the instep, the slip will disappear after it has been flexed. The safety steel toe on these boots was designed to protect my toes from injury if a heavy object fell on them. This is a feature that many of us workers appreciate because we are accustomed to being injured at work. The fit of pull-on work boots should be looser than that of lace-up work boots.
This loose fit allows you to slip your foot into and out of the boot without having to pry it open. It’s too big if the pull-on boot slips on easily. It’s too small if you have to fight to get the boot on.
Reasons Why These Pull-on Work Boots Are Best For Your Workplace Use
• Slip-Resistant:
Slip-resistant footwear is designed to help prevent accidents. Slip-resistant shoes have a tread pattern that helps them resist slipping on wet surfaces. Oil-resistant no-slip shoes have a high-resistance tread that is designed to help you avoid slipping or falling at work. Slip-resistant shoes have an interlocked tread pattern that allows water to flow away from your foot, allowing the slip-resistant sole to make contact with the floor and provide better traction. A good slip-resistant shoe will also give the tread pattern more surface contact.
• Lightweight:
Wearing high-quality lightweight work boots relieves pressure on your feet, ankles, and lower back, allowing you to work in comfort and safety. A lightweight pair is defined as one that weighs less than 3.3 pounds. Soles: The insole, midsole, and outsole are all parts of the tactical boots that contribute to their overall weight. Foam insoles and midsoles are common in lightweight tactical boots with rubber outsoles.
• Insulated:
Insulated boots are designed to keep your feet warm while walking, playing, or working outside in the cold. There are many different types and weights of insulation on the market today, which can make finding the right boots difficult. The electrically insulating (dielectric) boots provide up to 20kV protection over the boot and 35kV protection over the sole. Dielectric insulating boots protect against electrocution by preventing accidental contact with live electrical equipment, cables, or conductors. In milder weather, you may prefer less warmth rather than more, so that layer of insulation in your boots, which makes your footwear less breathable, may cause your feet to overheat, sweat, and then get the insulation wet. It’s not enjoyable. So You’d be better off with non-insulated boots in that case.
• Outsole:
The outsole’s purpose is to provide traction and protection to the footwear from the surfaces it will come into contact with. They’re made of a variety of materials, including rubber, polyurethane, leather, and other synthetics. When most people refer to a boot’s sole, they’re referring to the outsole, which is the very bottom part of the sole where the boot meets the ground. The soles of Alvie’s boots are made of leather, similar to that of a dress shoe. The part of the boot that gets the most wear is the outsole.
• Insole:
Insoles are a great addition to safety footwear because they help to absorb moisture and keep odors at bay. Another benefit of insoles is that they help to reduce foot fatigue. They are recommended for use because they work as a support for the arch of the foot, which helps to prevent injuries and pain. “If an insole or orthotic makes your next long run more comfortable, go ahead and use them,” he advises. “However, if you’re running fine without insoles and have a pair of shoes that provide support and stability, there’s no need to add them.”
• Wedge Sole:
Wedge soles are designed for usage on hard, flat surfaces such as a warehouse floor, a paved road, or a sidewalk. Heel soles are made for climbing ladders or working on hard, uneven terrain. A wedge outsole allows for increased ground contact due to its relatively flat bottom and shallow tread.
• Comfortable:
It’s just as important to be comfortable! When you’re on your feet all day, the last thing you want is a pair of heavy, uncomfortable boots wearing your legs and feet out. Wearing a pair of safety shoes that is comfortable, well-fitting, and supportive can also help to prevent fatigue and keep your feet happy throughout the day. Cotton is less comfortable for your feet than polyester or wool/synthetic blends. The bottom is cushioned for added comfort. Check the length. Slide your foot forward until your toes are in contact with the boot’s front.
• Extra-Wide:
Foot disorders such as ingrown toenails, Morton’s neuroma, corns, calluses, and metatarsalgia can be caused by wearing shoes that are too thin for your feet. Switching to wide or extra-wide shoes can bring incredible relief and comfort if you’re suffering from any of these ailments. Extra-wide shoes, known as EE width shoes, are available in both men’s and women’s sizes. EE women’s shoes were formerly more difficult to come by, but in recent decades, more businesses have launched EE women’s shoes.
Different Toes Use In The Manufacturing Of These Pull-on Work Boots
• Composite Toe:
Crush and compression injuries are two types of injuries that composite-toe boots can help avoid. The high-speed environment of a composite production plant is an excellent example of a situation where foot protection is necessary due to the increased risk of crush and compression injuries. Composite toe boots are a better choice for outdoor conditions than steel toe boots since they are less impacted by ambient temperature. Composite toe boots, while meeting safety regulations, do not sustain the same amount of impact as steel toe boots.
• Safety Toe:
The metal surrounding the toe of the shoe protects the foot against punctures, collisions, and penetration caused by falling items or uneven work surfaces. They can also protect you against rusty or dangerous things protruding from the ground. The arch of the foot will be cushioned and supported by well-fitting safety footwear, ensuring that both your feet and ankles are adequately supported. This will promote good leg alignment, which will enhance your overall posture. Good posture can also help to prevent and relieve back discomfort.
• Soft Toe:
Soft toe boots give some protection for your feet, but they won’t protect you against impact or crushing injuries. Soft toe tactical boots, on the other hand, may protect you against chemicals, germs, and bloodborne diseases, as well as slipping and falling dangers in moist situations or on slick floors.
• Steel Toe:
Steel-toed boots protect against a variety of injuries, not simply those caused by falling items. Slips and falls, cuts/lacerations and burns, and punctures can all be avoided with them. Injuries like this are more difficult to sustain when wearing strong safety shoes or boots. Safety-toe footwear is required on numerous job sites and in many buildings. Employees must wear protective footwear when working in situations where there is a risk of foot injury from falling or rolling objects, according to OSHA.
• Square Toe:
They aid in the prevention of a wide range of injuries, not simply those caused by falling instruments. With that in mind, below are some of the benefits of steel toe boots. Unfortunately, even when safety is paramount, unsafe working circumstances are sometimes inevitable. At all times, your toes should have approximately an inch of space in front of them. The pressure on the sides of your feet should not be uncomfortable. Your toes mustn’t slip forward or contact the end of the boot.

My Opinion

My spouse has never owned a pair of boots that have performed so nicely. They’ve already had to put up with four months of concrete work. The protecting toe is still in place, and the waterproof sole, toe, and ankle section have no openings, so moisture is kept out. Even walking on ice, oil, rain, and scorching asphalt, the non-slip soles performed well. On the same temperature ground, the soles did not come off like his other boots. So far, we’ve found it to be worthwhile. They become very warm because they’re waterproof, and they’ve stretched out a bit in the breadth, which is to be anticipated.

My Opinion

The most comfortable steel toes I’ve ever worn, and I’ve tried a bunch. I wear them all day long and don’t even realize it. They are fantastic at jumping in and out of equipment and working in the dirt. I had to remove the soles and replace them with a more supportive insert, but after that was done, they were wonderful. The toe box is somewhat larger than average, but not by much. My toes are a little on the little side. When I need to, I’ll replace mine with them.

- The transformation is incredible.
- The time spent on the proper size and break-in is well worth it.
- Be mindful that using the improper oil or conditioner will cause the leather to discolor.
My Opinion

For the price, these boots are of excellent quality. This pair was part of a larger group of Redwings, so it wasn’t a completely new encounter. After being measured, I’ve found that this moc toe boot, the blacksmith, and the iron ranger are all approximately the same size for me. I normally take a week off from work to wear around the home during break. Some people use multiple socks to speed up the process, although this might result in too-loose boots. If you have a regular width foot and wear Allen Edmonds, go down one-half size. Sizing is covered in several videos and reviews. If at all feasible, get sized every time you go to the store, or you’ll be playing with fire. My Redwing 3141 work chukka was more comfortable in its true size. And I was not downsized. They weren’t overly lengthy and didn’t need a lot of breaking-in. Once you’ve thoroughly broken in these boots, they’ll feel like slippers. The transformation is incredible. The time spent on the proper size and break-in is well worth it. Redwings will last you a long time if you’ve become used to sizing and cleaning them. Examine some of the cleaning videos available on the internet. Be mindful that using the improper oil or conditioner will cause the leather to discolor. Bicks 4 is a non-darkening conditioner that works well. Even so, some patina or browning is inevitable. Particularly on the copper, which is harsh and tough.

My Opinion

In my closet, they are my favorite day-to-day boots. So much so that I’m on my third pair and have two more on the way in case I can’t obtain them anymore. The ONLY criticism I have is that there is no arch support. While they are incredibly comfortable and do not require a break-in period like other boots (I didn’t even need one), the inserts will almost certainly need to be replaced. They’re fantastic boots that are highly sturdy and comfy after you add some support. Dressy or work boots are also acceptable options. I still have all three old pairs, and they’re still functional. I still work with the oldest pair, which is four years old.

- It takes a week or two to break in, but after that, it’s a fantastic shoe.
My Opinion

These boots are fantastic. In reality, I bought these to replace a pair of worn-out (same type) work boots that I’d been using for four years. I deal with chemicals such as sulfuric acid, caustic, aqueous ammonia, hydrogen peroxide, and a variety of others, so the chemical resistance lower, in addition to the toe protection, is a decisive element. If you’ve ever had chemicals unintentionally get on you, the ability to not have to fiddle with laces (to get the boots off in an emergency) is essential. Since a disclaimer, the first thing I do with any new shoes or boots changes the insole with an aftermarket support insole, as I suffered from plantar fasciitis (spelling?) years ago and don’t want to experience it again.

Even though the boots have a round-pointed toe, the excess room in the toe makes them appear to run somewhat large. These boots are quite comfy for him in terms of sizing. He has a hard time finding boots that are both well-fitting and comfortable. This is a boot style that we will purchase again in the future.

My Opinion

This is the second time I’ve purchased these boots. These were bought to replace my last pair, which had endured three years of everyday abuse and usage. They were never cleaned or washed. They were mistreated and tromped in three inches of water. My feet were never wet. They were warm and comfortable even in the cold, even though this boot does not claim to be insulated. I would strongly suggest these boots to anybody in need of a reliable work boot. The treads are well-made and sturdy. I never skidded or lost my footing. The composite toe is soft and does not irritate the foot or toes. With these boots, I’ve worn both ordinary and boot socks. There are no issues.

My Opinion

It was a perfect match. Perfectly proportioned. Typically, Red Wings are either too huge or too little for the size. These are a great fit, they protect the ankle, and the steel toe is a bonus. I believe I could walk for kilometers with these boots without getting blisters or feeling uncomfortable. For half the price, they are better than my old Red Wig pull-on!! I’m thinking of getting another pair in brown just to have two to alternate with the other pair. There’s no need for a footbed. Perfectly fit the natural contour of my foot. What a difference a little money can make! It better fits than my Timberland pull-on or Red Wing pull-on. I am a very satisfied client who will return again and again. They were dispatched on schedule and arrived in a large yellow robust box. I couldn’t be more pleased. I also purchased the wax and brush as a bonus. For years of comfort and safety in a risky workplace, treat the boots and yourself to them. I work in a shipyard and am on my feet for 14+ hours every day; they are so comfy that I could probably sleep in them. The best pair of pull-on boots I’ve ever owned. I’m not sure what the cushioned sides are for, but they pull on easily and quickly.

When a railroad was built 10 years later in Nocona, Texas, H.J. realized the potential for his business and moved his family there to take advantage of a larger market.

I’ve worn other name-brand boots that took too long to break in and injured my feet. Justin boots are comfy from the moment you put them on. I’m not going to wear anything else than Justin.

My Opinion

My husband is on his second pair of Georgia boots, and he adores them. After the soles of his first pair wore out, he attempted two pairs of Justins, each of which injured his feet. After that, he acquired a pair of Merrells that he liked, but they leaked after a while. When I discovered this pair on Amazon and decided to order them as a surprise, I was ecstatic. He is smitten with them. They were a little snug the first two days, but they broke in nicely after that, and I’m sure he’ll wear them every day until they’re worn out. I would strongly recommend these to men who spend their days working outside in the elements. They are extremely long-lasting and comfy.
